Do I need to bring my printed registration confirmation with me to the retreat?

No. We already have all your information in our system, so you do not need to bring your confirmation!

I didn’t receive my confirmation after I registered.

Check your Junk Mail. Even though we love technology, sometimes things end up in Email Purgatory! OR - try using your email search bar to look for “Eventbrite”. If you still can’t find it, email us at mattersoflifeandbreath@gmail.com and we’ll check!

Are the Conference Grounds wheelchair accessible?

YES! Maranatha is entirely wheelchair accessible and offers accessible lodging as well. If you are interested in one of these rooms, let us know when you register!

Does Maranatha accommodate those with dietary restrictions?

Maranatha does its best to accommodate those with food allergies. On your registration form, please list your food allergy. For example: Celiac, dairy, nut, shellfish, etc.

Can we bring snacks and drinks?

Yes! Each room has a small refrigerator, so feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks! We will have light snacks, water and coffee available each day for you to grab between meals and sessions as well! Just an FYI - Maranatha does not allow any alcoholic beverages!

Can I chose my roommate?

Yes! There is a spot on the registration form to do so!

What will the weather be like?

The average daytime temperature in Muskegon this time of year is 59 degrees during the day, so dress warmly and comfortably! Since we’re right on Lake Michigan, it might be a bit cooler!

What is the address of the Conference Grounds?

The address for Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference Grounds is: 4759 Lake Harbor Rd. Muskegon, MI. 49441. Their phone number is: 231-798-2161.

Where should I check in?

Check-in will be in the Main Lodge! It’s the first, large building you see when you pull in! It’s very easy to find! You can pull your car right up to the front doors. We will have valets there to help you unload your luggage and park your car!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive between 5:00 and 6:30 pm, Friday the 20th to check in!

Can I arrive and check in early?

We’re so sorry, but we cannot accommodate early arrival or check in. Please do not arrive before 5:00 pm October 20th.

What do I do once I arrive at Maranatha Conference Grounds?

After you check in and drop your luggage off in your room, please walk (a very short distance) to our main meeting room - The Lake Michigan Room! There will be staff there to direct you!

Exquisite appetizers will be provided for you Friday evening by our special friend Chef Joel Walcott at Kitchen626, so come hungry!!

Anything else I should bring?

The conference grounds are well lit at night, but it’s still a good idea to bring a flashlight!
You might want to bring an umbrella too; just in case!

All your bedding and towels are provided for you, so you only need to bring toiletries, any personal items you need, and your Bible and pen!

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us at: mattersoflifeandbreath@gmail.com
